In my twenties and thirties, hosting parties was a meaningful part of my identity. I would cook all day and still be energized when friends showed up to gather at the table. Today, my entertaining style is a bit more understated and with two+ years of pandemic pauses, I would say it has entered new terrain. With children leaving the nest, and elders at rest, this year I am especially craving the company of friends who are thoughtfully living in these times of great change.

One of my goals this year is to pick up where I left off convening small group social gatherings. I hope to see friends new and old in person, in potluck, and in other patterns we find productive to our growth and enlightenment!
